Academic Excellence
Academic Excellence
Building on our motto, teaching and learning are at the core of RAG education. With a maximum class size of 24 students our forward-looking approach to learning – which encourages creativity, problem solving and critical thinking – and our globally-minded attitude towards holistic development, means that our students are prepared for life in the secondary school and the world beyond.
Core subjects at RAG will include Mathematics, English, and Arabic (either first language or second language).
RAG will also offer a vibrant, broad and popular programme of co-curricular clubs, societies and activities, such as debating, financial investment clubs and ecological clubs.
These clubs will be made available to all pupils – regardless of experience or skill level. Our co-curricular provision will be about inspiring pupils to try new activities and experiences, and to develop the character to rise to the challenges presented to them.
Early Years Curriculum
A programme designed for 3-6 year olds.
It gives young learners the best start in life, helping them to meet key early milestones and thrive in and outside of school.
- Follows a holistic approach that focuses on the whole child and connects their development with the world and people around them.
- Is built around four key areas of early childhood development: Physical development, Cognitive development, Language and communication development and Social and emotional development
- Develops knowledge, understanding and skills through a spiral approach, by revisiting and engaging with topics and skills in more depth at each stage.
- Helps learners to meet internationally established milestones for early development. Although children develop at different rates, the curriculum provides a structure for teaching and learning that will help you to monitor and support each child’s progress.
- Supports a bilingual or multilingual approach for learners with a home language other than English, as well as those with different experiences of English
- Prepares learners to easily transition into Cambridge Primary, or the next stage in their education.
